Margarito Took Everything Cotto Through Including Textbook Clean Punches And Kept Coming. He Couldnt Be Hurt It Seemed. The Judges Had It Extremely Close Through 10. Two Had It At 96-94 Margarito And The Third Had It Even. But Eventually Even Miguel Cotto Couldnt Will Himself To Do Something His Body Just Couldnt Do. With The Way Antonio Came In There... There Was No Way Cotto Would've Won. It Wouldve Taken Some Kind Of Miracle. In The Eleventh Round Margarito Came In And Floored Cotto And While Cotto Forced Himself Up, Margarito Smelled Weakness And Went In For The Kill. With Powerful Flurries Cotto Was Barraged With Strong, Quick, & Hard Punches. He Was Knocked Down Again And Cotto's Uncle Couldnt Bear To See His Nefu Take Anymore. The Towel Was Thrown In At 2:04 Into The Eleventh. And In The End, EVERYONE Now Knows Why Sugar Shane Mosely AND PRETTY BOY FLOYD MAYWEATHER Turned Down Fights With Margarito. I'm Not Saying Floyd Wouldnt Win... I'm Saying It Would Be Pretty Damn TOUGH. And Sugar Shane? Well He'd Lose No Question Lol. But Hey Thats Just Me.
P.S. At The End Of The Fight Margarito Was Asked About A De La Hoya Fight And He Responded:
"Oscar De La Hoya is one of the best,” Margarito stated in regards to being the Golden Boy’s opponent for his Dec. 6th swan song. “If he comes through with his promise, we can give Mexicans a true battle."
